Creative Montessori Academy operates under the public
school academy governance structure in which the Academy
is authorized by (received its charter from) Wayne
RESA Board of Education. Wayne RESA oversight is provided
by its Learning Services Center under the direction
of Dr. Blandina M. Rose, Public School Academies Manager.
Wayne RESA's Board of Education appoints the Creative
Montessori Academy Board of Directors from interested
citizens who are nominated by CMA's Board. CMA has
seven Board members. Members are required to be bona
fide citizens of Michigan, undergo criminal records
check, and comply with conflict-of-interest guidelines
established by Michigan law and Wayne RESA.
