Mike Begian - Music
Diane Jolley - Music Assistant
Mrs. Jolley assists Mr. Begian with teaching music
to grades K - 8th. Mrs. Jolley has been a teaching
assistant for over five years. She is in the process
of completing her Montessori training. Why Montessori?
Mrs. Jolley believes it is truly a hands-on, well-rounded
education. Montessori is beneficial to the student
to move along at his or her own pace. In her spare
time she enjoys teaching dance.
Therese LaCome - Spanish
Rebecca Gardocki - Physical Education
Nancy Prembroke - Librarian
Mrs. Pembroke is the librarian for grades K - 8th.
She attended Wayne County Community College where
she received her associate degree. Mrs. Pembroke has
been teaching Montessori with CMA for over thirty-one
years. When CMA was a private school Mrs. Pembroke
was the art teacher. Why Montessori? Montessori helps
the child to grow to their true potential. In her
spare time she enjoys reading (no surprise there)
but she also enjoys camping and crafting.
Heidi Davis - Art
Mrs. Davis received a bachelors of Science in Education
from Central Michigan University. Postgraduate work
from Madonna University and Schoolcraft College. She
has been teaching for over eight years. Mrs. Davis
has been with CMA for over six years and teaching
Montessori for over six years. Prior to CMA she substitute
taught for Northville Public Schools and worked with
(Crayola) Binney Smith. Why Montessori? Because Montessori
recognizes the importance of the "whole" child and
promotes self-esteem with its individualized approach
to education. When away from school, she loves to
spend time with her family, exercising, cooking (trying
new recipes) and watching old movies. When she can
she also loves to "throw" clay. She has a pottery
studio in her basement that she loves to hide away
in as much as possible.
