| Susan Baggett
has a BA in Arts from Wayne State. She has been
a teacher for four years. Mrs. Baggett has been
with CMA since 2006. Prior to CMA she worked
with the Taylor School system. She substituted
for Allen Park, Southgate, Taylor Public schools,
and for CMA. Why Montessori? She believes that
the Montessori way of learning is best. The hands-on
materials and small group lessons are beneficial
for all children. |
Jannette Jakubowski,
Imagination House assistant, has been with CMA
for 3 years. She loves the positive learning environment. |
| Kelly Mitchell has
been with CMA since 2001, teaching grades 1 through
3. Kelly's educational background includes a BS
and a MA in Elementary Education and an AMS Elementary
Certification from the Michigan Montessori Teacher
Education Center. Kelly's desire to teach in a
Montessori setting is revealed through her commitment
to children and their interaction. She believes
that all children can learn when allowed to excel
at their own pace. |
MaryAnn Ibarra
has worked as an assistant in Imagination House
since 2001. She has her associate's degree in
Liberal Arts from Henry Ford Community College. |
Rebecca Sarazin
has a BA from the University of Michigan; she
is pursuing her endorsement in early childhood.
She has been teacher since 2006. Miss Sarazin
is in her third phase of her Montessori Certification.
She has been teaching at CMA for two years. Why
Montessori? She agrees with the Montessori beliefs
and she enjoys the lessons.

Sherri Whitney |
| Nancy Cole received her
BA at the University of Michigan, MA at Eastern
Michigan University and she has her Elementary
Credential from the American Montessori Society.
She has been teaching for more than thirty years.
She received her Montessori certification in 1995
from Midwest Montessori Teacher Training Institute
in Rochester, Michigan. Mrs. Cole has been with
CMA since 1995 and a few years previous to that.
She also taught secondary French and Social Studies
at Grosse Isle and Trenton schools. Why Montessori?
She has always learned best from the hands to
the brain and she values the global perspective.
Mrs. Cole also enjoys reading, fly-fishing, gardening,
and art (doing and seeing). |
Natalie Trezona |
| Kathy Grasso has a Masters of Arts Degree as a Reading Specialist.
She received
her Montessori training in 2000, and has been
teaching Montessori
for over eight years. Before Ms. Grasso was at
CMA she taught 3rd grade at St. Mary's Catholic
School and at Wagienka Elementary School. Why
Montessori? Every child has the opportunity to
experience success while working at their own
level. Ms. Grasso enjoys spending time with her
two children, seven grandchildren, friends and family. She also enjoys
walking and roller-blading. |
Kristie Kleinbrook |
| Emily Wallace
received her educational background from Eastern
Michigan University and has a B.S. in Elementary
Education, a major in Language Arts, and a Minor
in Art. She graduated in 2004 Ypsilanti Michigan
cum laude. She also has an Associates Degree in
Language Arts from Oakland Community College and
she attended Sheffield School of Interior Design
and is a certified interior designer. Mrs. Wallace
has been teaching for CMA since 2006, and was
a substitute teacher for three years. Mrs. Wallace
completed her Montessori Training in 2008. This
is Mrs. Wallace's first full time teaching position.
Why Montessori? She really likes that students
work at their own pace. The hands-on material
is excellent. And, it is a peaceful environment.
Students learn to become independent lifetime
learners. Mrs. Wallace has enjoyed teaching Sunday
school at her church for the past seven years.
She is a member of the church dance team as well.
She has been dancing for nine years. She is also
a member of her church's drama team. |
Allison Goroni |
| Lisa Loger graduated from
Western Michigan University, and is currently attending
Wayne State University for her Masters in Elementary
Education. She has been teaching for more than
eight years. Of those eight years, she has been teaching Montessori
for over three years, two of which have been with CMA. Mrs. Loger
taught Montessori grades 1, 2, and 3 in Allen
Park, third grade in Detroit and she also taught
Spanish. Why does she like Montessori? Because
of the way the students progress at an individual
pace. She loves spending time with her family. |
Darlene Ficek has
been an assistant in Imagination House since 2004.
She has seen first-hand how the Montessori Method
is capable of maximizing each child's learning. |

Dina Moore
has been an assistant in Creativity House for
three years. Ms. Moore is a licensed medical coordinator
and a licensed paraprofessional.
